JUSTICE ONLINE (JOL) is the world's first web-based video conferencing application between the law courts and lawyers to be deployed on a nation-wide basis. We worked closely with law firms, Subordinate Courts, Supreme Court and the Attorney-General's Chambers to design a system that would cater for the different needs of all the parties. JOL has been in operation since 2002 and is now deployed for point-to-point and multi-party video conferences daily.

In 2007, Justice Online was converted to a webcam platform with full document collaboration and 3G conferencing facilities.

Many Justice Online Subscribers find the service indispensible because of the amount of time it saves them. Justice Online subscribers not only have the luxury of attending the hearing from their office, but also enjoy priority as their cases are heard before non-JOL lawyers.

This JOL project was supported by the IDA and received wide international acclaim and interest.
